TDX25 in San Francisco! All about AI, innovation and community from the eyes of a Marketing Champion.

One Team, One Mission
We escaped the heat of the CDMX to get to San Francisco, the city of the eternal winds. This city reminds me a lot of the Zocalo in Mexico City, where you will find everything, houses and buildings with Victorian architecture, prestigious stores, culture and a very busy urban life that keeps you on your toes.
Gregorio, Alfonso, Alfredo and I form a team with a clear objective: to split up to attend as many sessions as possible and extract as much knowledge as possible to apply in our work. At Orange we are always looking for ways to optimize the work we do with our customers, and help them start their journey with new Salesforce technologies and releases that will help them better achieve their business goals.
I will tell you that going as a team to these events is one of the best tactics I can recommend. At these events there is a wide variety of things to do, personally you don't have enough time to go to all the sessions you want, network, do hands-on, take your certifications and participate in the activities available, plus take care of your personal health and wellness in between.
For this, the Salesforce Events app was vital, which helped us to have a clear agenda, know where to move in each session and even get the much-prized swag that Salesforce has become accustomed to. In the end we gathered all our notes and experiences and got down to work.
So if you ever decide to go to Dreamforce, Connections or TDX, I highly recommend that you don't go alone, and if you do, look to connect with people who have a similar interest as you to have a better experience.
Breakfast with Marketing Champions
The day started with breakfast with the Marketing Champions crew - I was so looking forward to seeing them again! The Salesforce Marketing Champions program is the only official community program, where specialists and experts come together to be spokespeople for the brand, engage in important conversations about the future and operation of the platforms and use that information to help. I have the honor of having more than a year collaborating as a proud Marketing Champion in Latin America and it has helped me to strengthen ties and knowledge inside and outside our country.
At this breakfast I had the opportunity to reconnect with Guilda Hilaire (Director of Product Marketing at Salesforce, and leader of the Marketing Champions) and meet amazing Trailblazers like Alexandra Danahy, who recommended me some dinosaur-shaped mojitos (not to be missed!), Brandon Walton, who gave me a sneak peek of his successful session on how to get started with Agentforce, Tasha Rucker, golden hoodie and excellent partner at Escape Rooms, and Tim Ziter, who was great to coincide with me.), Brandon Walton, who gave me a sneak peek of his successful session on getting started with Agentforce, Tasha Rucker, golden hoodie and excellent Escape Rooms partner, and Tim Ziter, who was great to meet after meeting virtually at the MCLearningCamp webinars (where I gave a session on WhatsApp last year). his session on Marketing Automation Powered by Agentforce was fantastic!

Highlights of the event
With our stomachs full, we rushed to the Moscone Center. The event was full of exciting announcements and news. This year we encountered curious agent-powered robots, Agentforce consulting sessions, Hands-on learning-by-doing exercises and many invited ISVs.
Here is a summary of the highlights:
Salesforce Developer Edition with perpetual license

We kicked off with the first major news of the event, the release of a new version of Salesforce Developer Edition. This is a great tool that requires no purchase to get access to a fully functional test instance of Salesforce Core (the official Salesforce CRM). Now these free instances will also have Agentforce and Data Cloud included, which puts the ability to learn and build agents with artificial intelligence in everyone's hands, as well as having the identity unification engine to power your demos and exercises.
Before, making Agentforce demos or exercises was a tiresome job, as Trailhead demo instances lasted a maximum of 4 days, and you had to reconfigure everything from scratch.
Now through the following link, you can register for free to receive your personal instance. It has lifetime use, as long as you log in at least every 45 days, so I recommend setting an alarm in your calendar so you don't miss any of your progress. If you already had a developer instance before this announcement, create a new one to receive Data Cloud and Agentforce.
With this personal developer instance you will be able to:
- Create apps quickly with drag&drop tools
- Perform complex programming with Apex code
- Create AI agents with Agentforce
- Harmonize your data with Data Cloud
- Connecting Agentforce with structured and unstructured data
- Integrate everything through API
- It has 10GB of storage and 150 LLM generations per hour.

Agentforce 2DX
The second major release was the upgrade of Agentforce to Agentforce 2DX. Salesforce decided to put some avocado in its agent platform and this new version includes access to the Agentforce API, creation of variables within instructions and the ability to use Lightning components in agent actions.
It feels more and more like a complete and robust platform, where we are approaching granular customization of the configuration whether you are a developer or administrator.
Here are the highlights of the update:
- Agentforce API: Allows integration with backend systems and frictionless business process automation. This was something we had been looking forward to, using code and the terminal to work directly with the guts of the agents.
- Invocable Actions: Integrates Agentforce with Flows and Apex, enabling advanced automation with business logic. We will even be able to use Lightning components within the actions in the near-term future.
- MuleSoft for Agentforce: Facilitates the creation of topics and actions using natural language and extends access to APIs within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Slack Workflow Builder: Introduce automation without code with Agentforce in Slack.
- Testing Center: Automates the generation and execution of tests to guarantee the accuracy and relevance of the agents.
- CLI and VS Code Support: Pro-code development with standard tools to streamline agent deployment and maintenance.
- DX Inspector: Provides visibility into Agentforce metadata and data structure in Sandbox environments.
- Agentforce Interaction Explorer: Allows detailed monitoring of agent performance and provides recommendations for continuous optimization.
I don't know about you, but I already want to start working with all this in production. Learn all about the new release here:

AgentExchange: The IA Agent Marketplace

This new official marketplace launched by Salesforce, is the new Agentforce-focused AppExchange, and offers a library of ready-to-use templates and actions, facilitating agent deployment and enabling partners to monetize their solutions in the growing AI market.
- More than 200 initial partners: Offers ready-to-use, security-validated components with customer feedback.
- Facilitates monetization of solutions: Allows partners and developers to list and sell their agents and shares.
- Digital job market accelerator: positioned as a key pillar in the growing autonomous AI economy.
It's great because we will no longer have to start from scratch, we will have access to use cases and actions previously tested by other specialists and even the ability to sell our own actions and agent templates to the international market, all with the criteria and security and quality control we already know from Salesforce.

Networking with the Latin Community
We participated in a dynamic organized by Sara Hernandez and Rafael Hernandez to get to know each other. In addition, Belinda Vergara and I had the opportunity to talk about future events and our efforts with the Latino communities, Bel, it was great to see you throughout the event! I also ran into Jose Mora, it's always a pleasure to chat with you, I hope we meet again soon at another Salesforce event.
Rodrigo Santander speaking at the Latinxs forum at Salesforce about community efforts in Latin America.

Dark Mode for Lightning
Finally, for those of us who use Lightning tools, the announcement of Dark Mode was great news. It will be coming very soon as an update to the design system. If you are an interface design geek like me, and like to rest your eyes at work nights, you will also love this update.
Conclusion
TDX25 was an enriching and motivating experience. We returned home with new ideas, knowledge and contacts that will help us continue to drive innovation and success in the world of customer experience.
In addition to all the knowledge gained, events like this are an invaluable opportunity to network and develop interpersonal skills. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to grow and develop as a specialist.
I want to thank Orange Digital CX for making our participation in this event possible and for helping us to be at the forefront of the AI revolution to provide the best service to our customers. And above all, thanks to you for reading this far! If you have questions or comments, tell us more and let's talk.
